Fees and graduation
Where the trading fees go and what happens at the top of the curve.
Trading fees
Each launch sets its own fee in the Curve and fees unit. The Sniper tax mod starts it high and drops it over time, and the Volatility fee mod adds a little during sharp moves. Meteora keeps 20% of the fee. Of the rest, the creator gets 70% and the platform 30%.
The curve
Tokens start on a Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve. The creator picks the starting market cap and the market cap at which the curve completes. The creator’s first buy is charged the minimum fee.
Graduation
When the curve completes, liquidity moves to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool and is locked forever, split between the creator and the platform. Both keep earning the pool's fees. At that point the token's mods end: Meteora removes the hook from tokens that leave the curve.
Forever curve
With the Forever curve mod, buys stop just below the top. The token never graduates and its mods stay on for good.
